August 2022- Well it has been the longest gap between updates since I started doing this web site in 2006. Lots of things have happened in that time. The reunion in Charleston went off in grand manor with a record of 4 former CO's in attendance. If you attended, please send along a few pictures. It was announced that the next reunion in 2024 will be held in Frederick, MD, the location of the 2014 reunion. We had such a good time at that reunion, it was decided that it deserved a redo. Hope to see many of you there.

Very sad to see so many of our shipmates listed here. We wish their families and friends only the best as we issue their loved ones their final command. Rest your oars shipmates. Job well done. April 10 - Jeff Buss informed us that the Key Bench has been placed at Patriots Point in Charleston. For those attending the reunion, a visit is planned during the Patriots Point tour.

March 16, 2022 - Sorry to announce the passing of three more shipmates: James P. Brown; Bobby Grace and Ken McCracken. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to their families and friends. Obituaries available in Eternal Patrol. Rest in peace shipmates. We have the watch. Job well done.

I added 8 new photos at the bottom of the 1970's photo area. Take a look and let me know if you recognize anyone. The photo's were taken by Raymond Cote 69 - 71 NavET. His daughter found the images in a cigar box of her late father's and sent them along to us.

Feb 8, 2022 - To all those who live or are staying with friends in the Charleston area, be sure to still fill out the registration form and send it to Diane before the first of April. Everyone attending must be accounted for on a registration form.

Jan 26, 2022 - The Key 2022 reunion is still a go! Our reunion coordinator, Diane Singleman, has asked me to let you know that plans are for a normal reunion this year. Diane asks that if you are planning to attend, that you send in your registration form now or at least drop Diane an e-mail to let her know you are planning to attend. Also, don't forget to reserve your hotel room. If you are like me, you can't wait to get out and mingle around other humans again. However in our case, we will just have to settle with mingling with other subvets. Hope to see you all in May!
